FAQ

Questions, answered.

The essential answers: coverage starts at €1,900, a 30% deposit secures the date, and complete galleries are delivered within 6 weeks of the wedding. Every wedding is confirmed by contract, including coverage, travel terms and delivery.

Pricing and booking

How much does a destination wedding photographer cost in Europe?

Elopement coverage starts at €1,900 for approximately 4 hours; Half Day at €3,200 for 6 hours; Full Day at €4,500 for 10–12 hours; Multi-day from €9,500. The final quote reflects the country, date and agreed coverage.

How far in advance should we book?

For a fixed summer weekend, contact me as soon as your date and country are known. Twelve months is a useful planning horizon, but shorter-notice dates can still be available. A written contract and a 30% deposit secure the date. The remaining balance is due on the wedding day. The deposit is refunded if the booking is cancelled.

Do you use a contract and deposit?

A written contract and a 30% deposit secure the date. The remaining balance is due on the wedding day. The deposit is refunded if the booking is cancelled.

Travel and destination planning

Is travel included in the price?

European travel is quoted separately for Elopement and quoted separately for Half Day; it is included for Full Day and included for Multi-day coverage. Travel for Georgia and Turkey is quoted separately. For remote projects, one combined quote can include photography, flights and the agreed transfers.

Do you work with international couples?

Yes. I work fluently in English and Russian. Available for destination weddings across Europe, in Georgia and worldwide. Before the wedding I coordinate the timeline and photography requirements with the couple or planner online.

Do public locations or venues require photography permits?

Rules vary by country, city and venue. Some private properties, heritage sites and public spaces require permission or a fee. The venue or planner normally confirms the rule, and I provide the photography details they need.

Photographs and delivery

How many photographs will we receive?

Usually 48–80 finished photographs per hour of coverage. The number depends on events, guest interactions and transfers; it is an estimate, not a guaranteed minimum.

How long does wedding photo delivery take?

The complete edited gallery is delivered within 6 weeks of the wedding, the contractual maximum. If requested before the wedding, a preview is ready within 3 days after the wedding. There is no automatic preview.

How long is our online gallery available?

Your online gallery is stored for 1 year, with automatically generated sharing links for social media. Password protection is available, and gallery downloads can be disabled on request. Download and back up your photographs before the storage period ends.

Can we receive RAW files?

All RAW files can be supplied free of charge on request and are stored for up to 1 month from the wedding date. Please arrange the handover before this period ends.

What editing is included?

Colour correction, Tonal adjustments, Cropping, Light retouching with natural skin texture. Useful portrait variations are retained so you can choose your preferred angle and expression. Technical failures and accidental closed-eye frames are removed.

Can we publish our photographs?

Couples are welcome to publish their photographs.

Can we add film photography?

Film coverage costs US$100 for 72 exposed frames, including development and scanning. The number of usable scans can differ from the number of exposed frames.

Is a second photographer available?

Coverage is by 1 photographer. A second photographer is available for €500 per project.

Do you carry backup photography equipment?

Yes. I use professional cameras, lenses and lighting and carry backup equipment. This is a standard part of preparing for a wedding where moments cannot be repeated.

Style and the wedding day

What is editorial-documentary wedding photography?

Documentary photography records real events, relationships and reactions without rebuilding them for the camera. Editorial photography brings deliberate attention to light, composition and portraits. I combine both: observation for most of the day and calm direction when a portrait benefits from it.

Will you help us if we feel awkward in photographs?

Yes. You do not need modelling experience. During portraits I can suggest where to stand, how to move or where the light works best. I avoid rigid poses and keep the rest of the day observational.
